The Bull Carbon LD11 is the all-black cue in the LD series. The forearm is onyx black stained maple, the same black runs down through the butt sleeve, and a black textured leather wrap sits between them. No points, no inlays, no color accents. It comes with a Bull Carbon fiber shaft in 11.75 mm or 12.25 mm and a Uni-Loc Quick Release joint.

Who makes Bull Carbon?

Bull Carbon is the carbon fiber line from Koda Sports. The LD cues are Koda’s carbon-shaft playing cues, and the LD number is the design: LD11 is onyx black, LD12 blue, LD13 burgundy, LD14 teal, and LD4 ice blue. Same build across the line, different stain.

The shaft

The Bull Carbon shaft is built with 1 mm thick carbon fiber walls. It’s topped with a Kamui Black soft tip on a white Juma tip pad. Like any carbon shaft, it won’t warp from humidity the way maple can, and Koda backs it with a 10-year limited warranty that covers warpage.

Choose your diameter when you order:

• 12.25 mm is closer to a standard maple shaft and the easier switch if you’ve been playing a 13 mm house cue.
• 11.75 mm is slimmer, for players who like a smaller tip and a thinner feel in the bridge.

The joint insert: why it matters on a black cue

The Bull shaft uses a removable joint insert, so the same shaft can be refitted to a different cue butt. On the LD11, the butt is Uni-Loc Quick Release. If you already own another Uni-Loc cue, a Bull shaft can move between the two. If your other cue uses a different joint, the insert can be swapped for that joint with Bull’s adapter tool. Weight, length and tip options

Koda builds the butt with a stackable weight bolt system, and retailers list the cue from 18 to 21 ounces. The standard shaft is 29 inches. A 30-inch shaft adds $25 and makes the cue an inch longer, which helps taller players and anyone with a long bridge. Tip upgrades include other Kamui hardnesses and Predator Victory tips.
