Predator K Series Classics 2-1 Pool Cue, Coffee-Stained Birdseye Maple, Linen Wrap
The Predator K Series Classics 2-1 has a coffee-stained birdseye maple forearm over a maple core, with four black inlaid points carrying cream diamonds. The butt sleeve is ebony with cream and Ivorine diamonds. It has aluminum rings, a black linen wrap, and an elongated butt cap that shows both the original and the current Predator logos.
We’re sold out, and the dealers we checked (FCI Billiards, The Billiard Store and Canada Billiard) show it out of stock too. Our last price was $999. For a traditional-looking Predator you can buy today, the Sang Lee Series 2-2 and 2-3 limited editions are in stock, or the SP2 Palisander 1 at $1,049.
Buy the butt, keep your shaft
Dealers priced the 2-1 with a 314-3 or Z-3 maple shaft included. FCI Billiards offered it butt-only for $359 less, with REVO and Centro as upgrades. Because the joint is Uni-Loc Quick Release, any Predator Uni-Loc shaft you already own threads straight on.
That’s worth knowing if you’re shopping a used K Series. A butt-only listing isn’t a dealbreaker if you’ve got a Uni-Loc REVO or 314-3 at home. Just check the pin on the butt is Uni-Loc and not Radial before you buy.
What the K Series Classics are
Predator says the K Series Classics reintroduce some of its most memorable cue designs from the late 1990s and early 2000s, built in the style of traditional American cue work. This is the second generation. They have maple cores with exotic woods and inlays, aluminum rings, a black linen wrap and a Uni-Loc Quick Release joint, and they were sold as a limited production run.
Shafts and weight
Dealers paired it with a 314-3 or Z-3 maple shaft, with REVO carbon fiber and Centro as upgrades. Weight was adjustable, and FCI listed 18 to 21 oz.
