Predator – “P3″ REVO – Bocote – Wrapless – With 8” QR Extension – Radial

Predator P3 REVO Bocote Pool Cue, Wrapless, Radial, with 8″ Extension

The Predator P3 REVO Bocote is a natural bocote P3 in a matte finish with a gloss black stripe, Elforyn collar and butt cap, and Predator’s 30-piece P3 construction. This version has a wrapless handle and a Radial joint. It shipped with a REVO carbon fiber shaft and a matching 8-inch bocote QR extension.

Status: discontinued and out of stock. It sold here for $1,399. Two current P3 models are on the shelf: the P3 USA, no wrap ($1,479) and the P3 Galaxy, no wrap ($1,599).

Caring for a matte bocote finish

The bocote on this cue has a matte finish, broken up by a single gloss black stripe. Matte looks great, but it shows hand oils and chalk more than gloss does, especially on a wrapless handle where your back hand sits on bare finish.

Wipe the butt with a dry microfiber cloth after you play (Predator includes one). Don’t use polish or wax. That can leave shiny patches that won’t match the rest of the matte finish. Use the REVO towelettes on the shaft only. Record the serial number engraved on the back of the butt cap for warranty or insurance.

What you should get with it

New, it came with the REVO shaft, the matte bocote extension, Predator’s microfiber cloth, five REVO cleaning towelettes and Predator and REVO patches. The engraved serial on the butt cap ties the cue to its original sale.

REVO sizes

The standard pairing was a REVO in one of three diameters: 11.8 mm for a slim feel, 12.4 mm as the middle ground, or 12.9 mm for something closer to a traditional shaft. Dealers also offered maple shafts at a lower price. The weight cartridge let buyers pick 18 to 21 oz.
