How The Stroke Straightener Works
The Stroke Straightener is designed to be instantly understandable when you start shooting with it, but sometimes it can be helpful to see something demonstrated in order to understand exactly how the device works. Take a look at the video below to get a full rundown on getting the most from your Stroke Straightener.
When it comes to pool cue training tools, a notable thing about the Stroke Straightener is how intuitive it is to use. There’s no learning curve, just use it, feel the feedback and start shooting straighter!
Stroke Straightener is Intuitive:
This cue itself is a standard-size, two piece Eliminator style pool cue. It features contrasting dark-wood inlays set against a light wood handle and shaft. The joint is a standard 5/16″-18 joint pin. The Stroke Straightener fits into any pool cue case, because it’s a real pool cue. You can even use a Stroke Straightener to break a game of pool, though we don’t recommend doing it often because it will dull the tip.
The Stroke Straightener is a training pool cue, designed to dramatically improve a pool shooter’s accuracy. It works by teaching you the player how to hit the ball dead center. If the player strikes the cue ball anywhere outside of dead center, they will immediately miscue and the Stoke Straightener will send vibrational feedback that can be used to correct the next stroke.
The Stroke Straightener uses a patented conical-phenolic tip that is designed specifically for hitting center-ball. If a player shoots even tiny bit off-center, they will miscue. The Stroke Straightener alerts players to their mis-cue by both a sound, and through vibrations in the cue. That vibrational feedback is used to adjust the next stroke; just adjust in the opposite direction of the feedback until center-ball hits are achieved.
It’s that simple: take a shot, feel the feedback, and use that feedback to straighten your next stroke.

I just got this and tried for a few hours. It was difficult for me to shoot with it but that’s the whole point – it’s letting know I’ve been shooting ball too often with english – when I thought I am just shooting the center ball. What a valuable tool that efficiently tells you when you are not hitting the center. After some more practice….it will certainly straighten my stroke. Thank you for taking care of the pool players like me!

Disappointing. a shot really has to be off center ball for this to work. I will use it but I would not recommend it.
