Shot – “Bandit” – Sisal Dartboard

Shot Bandit Bristle Dartboard, Medium-Packed Sisal

The Shot Bandit is a steel tip bristle dartboard made from African sisal, packed to a medium density. Shot built the Bandit with micro-bladed 0.6 mm wires, which it says are 50% thinner than other boards and give 16% more playing area. The board is 100% staple-free and mounts with Shot’s U-bracket system.

Price: $99.99.

Bandit vs. Bandit Duro: pick by climate

Shot makes two versions, and the difference is how tightly the sisal is packed.

• Bandit (this board): medium-packed, best for humid conditions and lighter throws.
• Bandit Duro: hard-packed with about 6% more sisal, made for dry climates and heavier throws.

Shot recommends matching the board to your room: the standard Bandit for a humid basement or garage, the Duro for a dry space.

Features

• African sisal fibers that close up after darts are pulled
• 0.6 mm micro-bladed wire for fewer bounce-outs
• Staple-free bullseye and segments
• High-tensile steel number ring, powder-coated black, that clips on and off for rotation
• U-bracket mounting, plus foam wedges and a measuring tape

Rotate it

Because the number ring clips off, you can turn the board periodically so wear spreads across all segments, not just the 20 and the treble 20.
