Shot Zen Ki Soft Tip Darts, 80% Tungsten
The Shot Zen Ki is a straightforward, center-weighted 80% tungsten soft tip dart with a ring grip. It comes with Premium Lippoint tips, Pyramid black anodized aluminum in-between shafts and Zen Ki flights, in 18 or 20 grams.
Price: $52.99, among the most affordable tungsten sets we carry.
A good first tungsten set
If you’re moving up from house darts or brass darts, this is an easy step. Tungsten packs more weight into a slimmer barrel than brass, so darts group closer together. A center-weighted barrel with a simple ring grip is forgiving and doesn’t push you toward one grip style.
80% vs. 90% tungsten
Tungsten is much denser than brass, so the higher the percentage, the more weight fits in a slimmer barrel. A 90% tungsten dart is thinner than an 80% dart of the same weight, which helps darts sit tighter together in the same bed. 80% darts cost less and feel a little fuller in the hand.
Both 18 and 20 grams are in stock. If your current darts feel like they float, try 20. If your arm tires or your throw feels forced, 18 is the lighter option.

Prefer forward weight? The Zen Dojo and Zen Jutsu are front-weighted at the same price. For a short barrel, see the Zen Budo.
Which board?
Soft tip darts like these go with electronic dartboards. Shot sells steel tip versions of several Zen and Warrior barrels for bristle boards.
