BBO Aces Pro Folding Poker Table: 96 Inches, 10 Players Plus a Dealer

The Aces Pro is the table for people who want a real casino-size poker table but can’t give up a room to it. It’s a 96-inch oval with a dealer opening and seating for ten players, and it stands on BBO’s heavy-duty folding steel legs. When the game’s over, the legs fold and the table can be stood up against a wall or put away. At 80 pounds, two people can set it up or take it down quickly.

BBO lists it as a best seller, and it’s easy to see why: it’s the least expensive way into a full-size BBO table.

What makes it different from a cheap folding poker table

Most folding poker tables are a thin top on wobbly legs, and they shift every time someone leans on the rail. BBO built the Aces Pro around two things that fix that.

The legs. BBO calls them SAH (“StrongAsHell”) folding legs. They’re 1.2mm locking steel, and BBO rates them to support up to 700 pounds. They lock in place when open, so the table doesn’t creep or fold on you mid-hand.

The top. BBO builds the top from what it calls UltraLight Solid Wood instead of MDF or plywood. BBO says the material is stronger than plywood while being 92% lighter than MDF and 38% lighter than plywood, and that it resists warping and chipping. That’s why a 96-inch table comes in at only 80 pounds.

Know the load rating before game night

Here’s a detail most listings skip. BBO rates the legs to 700 pounds, but lists the reinforced table frame as supporting 300-plus pounds. In practice that’s more than enough for chips, cards, drinks and ten sets of elbows. It isn’t a rating for someone sitting on the rail or climbing on the table to hang a light. Treat it like a table and it’ll last.

Dealer position and seating

The Aces Pro has a dealer opening in the middle of one long side, so a dealer can sit in and reach every player. That gives you 11 positions: ten players and a dealer. If you don’t use a dealer, an 11th player can take that seat in a pinch.

BBO lists the table at 96 by 48 inches and 30 inches tall. Some retailers list the width as 44 inches, likely measured differently, so if a few inches matter in your room, call us and we’ll confirm.

How much room you need

One retailer of this table lists a minimum room size of 12 by 8 feet. That’s genuinely tight, with players pressed close to the walls. Using the more comfortable rule of about 3 feet of clearance around the table, you’d want roughly 14 by 10 feet. Since this table folds away, plenty of owners set it up in a living room, garage or basement only on game night, and room size matters less than having a clear path to bring it in.

Storage: what to plan for

When the legs fold, you’re still storing a top that’s 8 feet long. It doesn’t fit in a typical coat closet. The usual answer is standing it on its long edge against a garage or basement wall. The armrest is removable, which helps when you’re working the table around corners. Storing it flat or fully on edge is better than leaving it leaning at an angle for months.

Cloth, cup holders and options

On our site you choose red, green, blue or black, in standard velveteen or the upgraded waterproof cloth for $79 more. The waterproof cloth is a good idea for a table that gets carried around and used in garages and party rooms.

BBO offers several add-ons for the Aces Pro that aren’t on this page’s menu, including cup holders, a dealer tray, a drop box and solid wooden legs in place of the folding legs. BBO lists cup holders as an optional add-on, so if you want them installed, call us before you order and we’ll set it up.

Warranty

BBO backs the table’s structure with a limited lifetime warranty. The playing surface, armrest material, foam and finish are treated as wear items and aren’t covered, so a waterproof cloth and a table cover are worth considering if the table will see heavy use.

Aces Pro or a pedestal table?

If the table will stay set up year-round, a pedestal table like the Prestige X or the lighted Lumen HD looks more like furniture and feels more solid. If the table needs to disappear between games, the Aces Pro is the right call. If you want the kidney shape on folding legs, look at the Prestige folding-leg table.
