Inside the 6.5-inch padded rail is a 95 x 35 inch felt area, and the rail itself sits 31.25 inches high. You can add a dealer tray for $29, and choose from four felt colors in standard or waterproof cloth.

The same table as the Prestige X, on different legs

BBO builds two 108-inch kidney tables with identical top dimensions: this Prestige on folding legs and the Prestige X on a solid wood pedestal. Same 95 x 35 inch felt area, same 6.5-inch armrest, same 31.25-inch height, same ten players plus a dealer. The difference is what’s underneath and what that means for your room.

• Folding legs (this table): the legs fold flat so the table can come down after the game.
• Pedestal (Prestige X): stays put, looks more like furniture and has no legs at the corners for knees to hit.

Here’s the part that surprises people. BBO lists the folding Prestige at 176 pounds, while the pedestal Prestige X is about 160. The folding version is actually the heavier of the two. So “folding” here means you can collapse it and store it, not that it’s a light table one person carries out to the garage every Friday. Plan on two strong adults for setup and teardown.

Why go kidney-shaped?

A kidney table puts the dealer in the inside curve, within easy reach of every seat. That’s how card rooms are laid out, and it keeps a ten-handed game moving. If you play with a dedicated dealer or run home tournaments with a lot of players, the shape matters more than it might seem.

If your group rotates the deal and you’d rather have all ten seats equal, the 96-inch Aces Pro is BBO’s other folding table. It weighs just 80 pounds and is the easier one to move around.

The SAH legs

SAH stands for StrongAsHell. BBO redesigned these legs in 2021 and lists a 700-pound capacity for them. They lock open, so the table stays planted even with ten players leaning in. That matters on a 9-foot table, because a long top magnifies any wobble at the legs.

Room and storage

Plan on about 3 feet of clearance around the table for chairs and walking room. With a 108 x 46 inch top, that means a space of roughly 15 by 10 feet when the table is set up. When it’s folded, you’re storing a 9-foot-long top. A garage or basement wall where it can stand on its long edge is the usual spot. Make sure the path from storage to the game room doesn’t include a tight turn, because 108 inches doesn’t bend around corners.

Dealer tray and cloth

The optional dealer tray adds $29 and gives the dealer a place for chips at the cutout. If someone deals every hand, it’s worth it.

Felt comes in red, green, blue or black. The upgraded waterproof cloth costs $69 more than standard velveteen with no dealer tray, and it’s the better choice for a table that travels between rooms and gets drinks set near it. Keep in mind that BBO’s lifetime warranty covers the table’s structure, not wear items like the playing surface, armrest material, foam or finish.

For leagues, fundraisers and card rooms

A folding dealer table is the practical choice when the table has to work in more than one place. Poker leagues, charity tournaments, church and club fundraisers, and pop-up card rooms all need a full-size table that can be packed up at the end of the night. The Prestige gives you the 108-inch casino footprint and dealer cutout players expect, and the folding legs mean it can go back into storage when the event wraps. Is the Prestige the right table?
