Predator Roadline Hard Cue Case 2×4 – Teal/Black
The Predator Roadline 2×4 in Teal/Black is a bright, hard-shell case for the player who carries a playing cue, a breaker and maybe a jump cue to league night. The body is teal with black trim and a black front pocket, and the Predator cat sits at the bottom of the case. It’s the same Roadline construction Predator has sold for years, in one of its newest colors.
Price
We sell it for $209, Predator’s listed price for the teal 2×4. The cue in the photo is not included.
What 2×4 Means
A 2×4 case holds two butts and four shafts. That’s two cues with a spare shaft for each, or a playing cue with two shafts plus a break cue with its own. If you only own one cue right now, a 2×4 still makes sense. Many players add a breaker or a second shaft before long, and this case has room for it.
The Front Pocket
Predator designed the exterior pocket to hold a jump cue butt and extension, so a jump cue rides outside the main tubes instead of taking a butt slot. There’s also a breathable mesh pocket for gloves, chalk and a tip tool. Predator rates the pocket space as large.
Hard Shell vs. Soft
The Roadline hard case is built from ultra-vinyl over a hard body, with extra padding and double-stitched seams. It takes bumps in a car trunk or a crowded pool room better than a soft case does. If most of your cue’s life is spent in transit, hard is the safer choice.
Carrying It
Two padded shoulder straps swivel and come off completely, and one carries an embroidered Predator logo. Wear it like a backpack, sling it on one shoulder, or remove both straps and use the handle.
