Predator BK Rush Gold Break Cue, Wrapless
The BK Rush Gold, no wrap is the smooth-handle version of Predator’s limited metallic gold break cue. It uses the same REVO BK-R carbon fiber break shaft, ferruleless 12.9 mm BK Hybrid tip and Uni-Loc Steel-Lite Quick Release joint as every BK Rush.
It’s retired and sold out here. Our last price was $799. If you want this break cue in a wrapless finish, the teal BK Rush, no wrap is in stock at $949.
Gold, teal, black: does the color change anything?
No. Predator released the BK Rush in several finishes, and the gold was a limited run. The shaft, tip, joint and weight system are shared across colors, so a teal or black BK Rush hits the same as the gold. If you’re replacing a gold BK Rush shaft, a current REVO BK-R fits.
Getting the most from a carbon break shaft
Carbon break shafts don’t warp, and the REVO BK-R has no ferrule to crack. The tip is the part that wears. Scuff and shape it regularly so it holds chalk, because a glazed hard tip is the main cause of miscues on the break. When it’s worn down, have it replaced with another BK Hybrid or a similar break tip.
Weight
18 ounces standard, adjustable in 0.10 oz steps. Light break cues are easier to swing fast, and speed is what drives the cue ball on the break.
