Predator BK Rush Tiger Eye Break Cue, No Wrap
The BK Rush Tiger Eye is Predator’s top break cue in the limited Tiger Eye finish, a deep metallic amber-bronze with shimmering bands. This version has no wrap, so the finish runs all the way to the butt cap. It’s built on Predator’s four-piece fused hard maple butt with a REVO BK-R carbon fiber break shaft, a BK Hybrid tip and a coated Uni-Loc Steel-Lite Quick Release pin.
Our price is $949 for the complete cue, butt and 29-inch REVO BK-R shaft. It’s in stock.
Why you’ll see $370 on some sites
Search for this cue and you may find it listed for $370. That’s the butt only. Predator’s own store sells the Tiger Eye BK Rush butt by itself (its SKU starts with BCP) and adds the REVO BK-R shaft as a separate choice, which brings the full cue to $949. Dealers selling the complete cue, like Seybert’s, list it at $949 too.
The butt-only option is useful in one situation: you already own a REVO BK-R shaft from another BK Rush and want the Tiger Eye look. Our listing is the complete cue, so the shaft comes with it.
What makes it a break cue
The BK Hybrid tip is very hard, which keeps energy from soaking into the tip on impact. The REVO BK-R shaft is carbon fiber, so it won’t warp or lose stiffness from years of hard breaks the way a maple shaft can. The four-piece butt is Predator’s construction for moving power through the cue to the tip. In practice you get a fast cue ball without needing a huge, wild stroke.
It isn’t a jump/break cue, and the hard tip is a poor choice for normal shots. For jumping, Predator makes the matching Air Rush Tiger Eye.
Weight
It comes at 18.5 oz. Predator lists 19, 19.5 and 20 oz options through the Uni-Loc Weight Cartridge System, so you can add mass if you like a heavier breaker.
No wrap vs. sport wrap
Wrapless handles are smooth and show the full finish. If your grip tightens up on the break and your hand gets damp, the sport wrap version at $999 adds a five-zone grip.
