Predator Air Rush Tiger Eye Jump Cue, No Wrap
This is the wrapless Air Rush Tiger Eye, with Predator’s limited-edition amber-bronze finish running the full length of the forearm and maple handle. The shimmering bands Predator built the Tiger Eye collection around are more visible here than on the sport wrap version, since nothing covers the handle. Inside it’s the standard Air Rush: Air REVO carbon composite shaft, 14 mm phenolic tip with a carbon fiber shield, no ferrule, Uni-Loc Steel-Lite Quick Release joint.
We sell it for $599, and it’s in stock.
Building a matched Tiger Eye break and jump set
Predator’s Tiger Eye collection has two cues: this Air Rush and the BK Rush break cue. If you want the break and jump cues in your case to match, buy one of each. Here’s what a set costs at our prices:
- Wrapless pair: this Air Rush ($599) plus the Tiger Eye BK Rush, no wrap ($949), $1,548 total.
- Sport wrap pair: Air Rush Tiger Eye sport wrap ($659) plus the Tiger Eye BK Rush, sport wrap ($999), $1,658 total.
One honest note before you spend that: plenty of good players carry a mismatched break and jump. The set is about looks. If budget is tight, the BK Rush is the cue that changes your game more, because you break every rack and jump only now and then.
Also plan your case. The BK Rush needs a butt slot and a shaft slot. The Air Rush shaft is 29 inches and the forearm and handle are 11.25 inches each, so check your case has room for the extra short pieces.
Short build and long build
All three Air Rush pieces together make 51.5 inches at 12.1 oz. Take off the handle, which weighs about 4 oz, and it’s 40.25 inches at 8.1 oz. The short version is the usual choice for steep jumps close to a blocker, and both clear the 40-inch minimum in most league rules.
