Predator Limited Edition Artisan Ebony & Ivorine Pool Cue
The Predator Artisan Ebony & Ivorine is a throwback done with modern parts. Its forearm is black ebony with eight long spliced points of creamy white Ivorine, and each point is outlined with a thin line of silver metal. The butt sleeve repeats the same eight points in reverse. Ivorine also covers the collar and butt cap, which carries a black Predator panther, and a black lizard-grain leather wrap sits in the middle. Predator says only 150 were made.
Our Price: $2,849
We list the Artisan at $2,849, which matches the price Predator shows on its site with a REVO shaft. That includes a REVO® carbon fiber shaft in your pick of 12.4, 11.8 or 12.9 mm, all the same price. Tip and weight options are below.
Ebony and Ivorine, Explained
Ebony is one of the densest and darkest hardwoods used in cue making. It’s been a high-end butt material for generations. Ivorine is a man-made material that looks like old ivory. It has the warm off-white color without any of the legal or ethical problems of the real thing. Black and cream is about the most classic pairing in cue design, and the silver outlines give it a jeweler’s edge.
TrueSplice Construction
The points on the Artisan are full splices, not inlays. That means the Ivorine is actually joined into the ebony in a V, the same way a traditional hand-spliced cue is made. Predator’s TrueSplice process does this with tight, seamless joints. Splicing feels different from an inlaid cue. Players often describe it as solid and connected, with the hit traveling cleanly through the butt.
Radial Joint
The Artisan runs on Predator’s Uni-Loc® Radial™ joint. The radial pin threads together in a couple of turns and locks up tight, which suits a cue built around a traditional splice. The REVO we include comes with the matching Radial joint.
Weight and Tip
It ships at Predator’s standard 19 oz with the Uni-Loc® Weight Cartridge System, which adjusts from 18.5 to 20.5 oz in tenths of an ounce. Predator’s stock tip on this model is the Victory Medium.

Ivorine or Maple?
The Artisan also comes as an Ebony & Maple version. Same cue, same price. The Ivorine is brighter and higher-contrast, close to white on black. The Maple points are a warm natural wood with visible grain, so that one has a softer, more traditional look.
