Most P3s are about restraint. The Predator P3 Galaxy breaks that habit with one bold idea. A gloss black cue carries a narrow inlaid channel down the forearm and sleeve, packed with flecks of blue, teal, green and violet that shift as the cue turns under the light. Thin silver lines frame the channel on both sides. Up top, a polished silver collar wears an etched P3 logo. Down at the bottom, a matching silver butt cap carries an etched Predator panther. This listing is the Leather Luxe version, with a black textured leather grip on the handle.

The Look in Person

From a few feet back, it reads as a black cue with a thin streak of color. Pick it up under the table light and the colors come forward. It isn’t loud like a full printed design. It’s a single stripe of color on a black body, and the silver hardware at each end keeps it looking sharp instead of busy. If you’ve wanted a P3 that stands out a little without going full show cue, this is a good fit.

Inside the P3

The P3 platform is built from 30 pieces of ash and maple. Predator splits the wood into that many sections so no single piece can throw the cue off, and the result is a butt that’s very stiff and very consistent. Predator also swapped some parts that are normally wood, like the joint facing, the bumper and the threads for the weight bolt, for phenolic. Phenolic is tougher than wood and it seals out moisture, which helps the cue stay straight over years of use.

On the table, that adds up to a crisp hit with clear feedback. You know where you struck the cue ball.

Leather Luxe Grip

Predator’s Leather Luxe is a soft, pebbled leather. It holds well when your hand is damp and takes a little of the sting out of hard breaks. If you’ve always played with a wrap, there’s no reason to change now.

Joint and Weight

The Galaxy uses the Uni-Loc® Quick-Release joint, so every current Uni-Loc shaft fits it. It comes set at 19 oz. If you want it heavier or lighter, the weight cartridge system moves it from 18.5 to 20.5 oz.

Which REVO Size?

Go 12.4 mm if you want the safe choice. It plays the most like a regular shaft. The 11.8 mm is thinner and has the lowest deflection, which spin players tend to like. The 12.9 mm fills the bridge hand a bit more and feels more solid to some players.
