Predator Sport 2 Volt White Pool Cue, Sport Wrap, Radial
The Predator Sport 2 Volt in this setup has a pearl white matte maple forearm, the blue and gray Sport 2 logo, and Predator’s black five-zone sports wrap. It’s a four-piece hard maple butt with Predator’s Radial joint and the Uni-Loc Weight Cartridge System, sold with your choice of Predator low-deflection shaft.
This exact cue is sold out, and it won’t be restocked the normal way, because Predator has dropped the Sport 2 from its line. Two white Volts are left on our shelf: the Uni-Loc QR sports wrap ($779) and the wrapless Radial ($699).
Shopping for a used one? Check the pin first
Since Predator stopped making the Sport 2, a lot of buyers end up looking at used ones. The Volt was sold with two different joints, and the listing doesn’t always say which. This version is Radial. The Volt with sports wrap also came in Uni-Loc Quick Release, which is the one we still have in stock.
Look at the shaft’s joint pin before you pay. A Radial shaft won’t go on a Uni-Loc butt, so a mismatched set means buying a new shaft. Also check that the weight cartridge is still in the butt, since that’s what lets you change the cue’s weight.
What’s under the finish
Hard maple, in four spliced pieces. Predator marketed the Sport 2 as a cue that hits solidly without passing vibration back to your hand. Apart from color, the Volt and the Amp are the same cue underneath. The Amp wears the black finish. A stainless cap etched with the Predator logo closes off the butt.
Shafts it was sold with
The Sport 2 came as a butt plus one Predator low-deflection shaft. Most buyers picked maple (314-3 or Z-3), with REVO carbon fiber as an upgrade. On a Radial butt, the shaft needs a Radial pin. Low-deflection means less squirt when you use side spin, so the cue ball travels closer to your aim line.
