Bull Carbon Fiber Shaft – McDermott QR Joint Insert

Bull Carbon Fiber Shaft with McDermott Quick Release Joint Insert

This listing is the Bull Carbon fiber shaft with the McDermott Quick Release insert. It’s sold as a shaft only, no butt, for $494.99.

Which cues take a {short} shaft?

This insert fits McDermott cues built with McDermott’s quick-release joint.

Not every McDermott is a quick release

Here’s the catch with McDermott. Depending on the model, a McDermott cue may use the McDermott Quick Release joint or a 3/8×10 pin. Both appear on McDermotts, and the shafts don’t swap between them. Before you order, unscrew your shaft and look at the pin. A threaded 3/8-inch pin means you want the 3/8×10 Bull Carbon instead. Not sure? Send us a photo of the pin and we’ll tell you.

What you get

The joint insert is the only thing that changes from one Bull Carbon shaft to the next, and it can be swapped later with Bull’s adapter tool. The rest is constant: a carbon fiber shaft with 1 mm walls, a 16-inch pro taper, a white Juma tip pad and a Kamui Black soft tip. The standard size is 12.25 mm and 29 inches long. An 11.75 mm diameter and a 30-inch length are available by phone. Warranty is 10 years against warping and defects.
