Which cues take a {short} shaft?

Cuetec uses a 3/8×14 joint on many of its cues, and some aftermarket shafts use it as well.

Thread fit vs. a flush fit

Matching the thread is only half the job. Cuetec itself sells 3/8×14 shafts in two collar sizes: 21.30 mm for its own cues and 20.00 mm for other brands. That tells you how much butt diameters can vary even when the pin is the same. A shaft can thread on perfectly and still sit slightly proud of or under the butt at the joint. If a perfectly flush joint matters to you, measure the diameter of your butt at the joint and call us before ordering. What you get

The joint insert is the only thing that changes from one Bull Carbon shaft to the next, and it can be swapped later with Bull’s adapter tool. The rest is constant: a carbon fiber shaft with 1 mm walls, a 16-inch pro taper, a white Juma tip pad and a Kamui Black soft tip. The standard size is 12.25 mm and 29 inches long. An 11.75 mm diameter and a 30-inch length are available by phone. Warranty is 10 years against warping and defects.
