The BK Rush+ blue, no wrap is Predator’s jump/break combo in a metallic blue finish with a smooth handle. Pull the back handle and the break cue becomes a jump cue. It uses the REVO BK-R carbon fiber break shaft, a 12.9 mm BK Hybrid tip and a Uni-Loc Steel-Lite Quick Release joint.

It’s sold out here at a last price of $849, and Predator no longer lists the blue version. Break-only BK Rush cues in stock: black and teal, no wrap. For a combo cue, the Poison VX jump/break is in stock at $399.

Why a Hybrid tip and no ferrule

Break and jump shots both need a hard tip, because a soft tip absorbs energy. Pure phenolic is the hardest option, but it has almost no grip, so miscues on the break are more likely. Predator’s BK Hybrid sits between them: seven layers of leather with a hardening additive. It transfers energy like a hard tip and holds chalk better than phenolic.

The REVO BK-R shaft has no ferrule, so the tip mounts straight onto the carbon. That keeps the front of the shaft light, which helps on jump shots, where a lighter front end gets the cue ball off the cloth more easily.

Wrapless for breaking

A wrapless break cue feels smooth and consistent in the hand, and some players prefer it because the cue slides through a loose grip. If your hands sweat, a sport wrap gives more hold on the break.

Jump length

PoolDawg lists the BK Rush+ at 43 inches in jump mode and 58 inches assembled. Most leagues set 40 inches as the minimum length for a jump cue, so it’s legal.
