Cuetec – AVID Opt-X Pool Cue – Red – 95-381

Cuetec AVID Opt-X Red Pool Cue

The AVID Opt-X Red is the most straightforward design in the Opt-X series: clean creme and red points, stacked silver, red and creme rings, and a Leather-Tec wrap. No extra accents. It’s built on A-grade kiln-dried, vacuum-sealed hard maple and comes with Cuetec’s AVID low-deflection shaft.

Cuetec’s MSRP is $439, the lowest in the series. Our price is $369.

The Duo extension, and why the bumper matters

Every Opt-X has a bumper that’s ready for Cuetec’s Duo Smart Extension. Unscrew the bumper, thread the extension in, and you’ve added length for shots across a 9-foot table without switching to a mechanical bridge. It’s sold separately.

Leather-Tec wrap

Cuetec describes Leather-Tec as a moisture-shedding wrap.

Shaft and tip

The AVID shaft is glass-bonded maple with a super straight taper. We carry it in 12.75 mm and 11.75 mm. Cuetec also makes 12.25 mm (95-381-K), which we can order by phone. A Tiger Everest medium tip comes on it, with Predator Victory and Kamui upgrades available.

Weight

19 ounces standard. The Acueweight Generation II system adjusts weight in quarter-ounce steps, and we’ll set it between 18 and 21 ounces when you order.

Joint

The joint is a 3/8×14 Cuetec joint. Cuetec Cynergy carbon shafts are made to fit it if you upgrade later.
