Predator Limited Edition SP2 Red Metallic 1 Pool Cue

The Predator SP2 Red Metallic 1 is a limited-edition SP2 with metallic red maple points and a matte black Predator cat logo on a matte black forearm. It has C4+ construction, Predator’s extended Leather Luxe wrap, a Uni-Loc Quick Release joint and a choice of Predator shafts.

Predator lists the Red Metallic 1 as discontinued, and Seybert’s shows it sold out. We’re sold out too. Our last price was $949. Two limited SP2s are in stock: the SP2 Lime Green 1 and Lime Green 2 at $949.

Red 1 or Red 2?

The two are inverses of each other. The Red 1 is mostly black: matte black forearm, metallic red points, matte black cat. The Red 2 is mostly red: a metallic red maple forearm with matte black points and a metallic red cat. The build, wrap and joint are the same. If you want the red to pop as an accent, the Red 1 is the one. If you want a red cue, it’s the Red 2.

The extended wrap

On a standard cue, the wrap stops a few inches short of the butt cap. The SP2 Red’s Leather Luxe wrap runs all the way down to the cap. That gives players who hold the cue at the very end a consistent grip there instead of bare finish.

Shaft and weight

Dealers offered the SP2 Red with a 314-3, Z-3 or REVO shaft in 29 or 30 inches, with a Predator Victory soft tip. Standard weight is 19 oz, adjustable from 18.5 to 20.5 oz.
