The Predator P3 REVO Bocote is a natural bocote P3 in a matte finish with a gloss black stripe, Elforyn collar and butt cap, and Predator’s 30-piece P3 construction. This version has a wrapless handle and a Uni-Loc Quick Release joint. It shipped with a REVO carbon fiber shaft and a matching 8-inch bocote QR extension.

What 30-piece construction means

Most cue butts start as a few large pieces of wood. Predator builds the P3 butt from 30 separate pieces with phenolic reinforcement. Predator’s reasoning is consistency: smaller pieces, oriented and glued in a controlled way, are less likely to warp or have dead spots than one big blank, and the phenolic adds stiffness.

What it means for you: the P3 tends to hit the same way from cue to cue, which is part of why it costs more than a standard Predator. The bocote is the outer layer, so the look comes from the wood and the playability comes from the build underneath.

In the case

A complete set means four main pieces: butt, REVO shaft, 8-inch bocote extension and the small kit (five REVO wipes, microfiber cloth, two patches). Predator engraved the cat logo above the butt cap and put the P3 mark and serial number on the cap itself.

Shaft and weight

Dealers sold it with REVO in 11.8, 12.4 or 12.9 mm. A 314-3, Z-3 or Centro was available for less. Weight was set with the Uni-Loc Weight Cartridge System, listed from 18 to 21 oz in half-ounce steps.
