The Predator True Splice 16 is back for another run, and this is the cool-toned one. Sixteen spliced points come out of an ebony body, eight on the forearm and eight on the butt sleeve. Each point is layered with veneers in dark blue, black, light blue and teal, and the centers are filled with Ivorine and ebony. The collar and butt cap are Ivorine with a Predator logo on the cap, silver metal rings set off each end, and a black lizard-grain leather wrap covers the handle.

What “True Splice 16” Means

The name tells you most of it. These are true full splices, where each point is cut into the ebony and glued in as a single V-shaped piece, not a flat inlay pressed into the surface. Sixteen is the count of points, front and back. Full-splice cues like this have been around for generations. Predator builds them with its TrueSplice process, which keeps each seam tight and even.

The Blue and Teal Colorway

Four veneer lines, from deep navy to bright teal, trace the outline of each point. Against black ebony, the blues read clearly but don’t shout. It’s a good pick if you like color on a cue but want it to look classic, not flashy. The white Ivorine collar and cap frame the whole thing.

Joint and Weight

The TS16 uses Predator’s Radial® joint. It threads on quickly and locks down solid, and the REVO you get with it has the matching Radial joint. Weight is set with the Uni-Loc® Weight Cartridge System. Predator’s standard is 19 oz, and you can move it anywhere from 18.5 to 20.5 oz.
